Terms of Service
The terms we work to — what a quote covers, when it can change, who is liable for what, and what happens if something goes wrong. Plain English, no traps.
These terms
These terms apply to recovery, roadside assistance and vehicle transport carried out by Soopper Fast Recovery of 68 Shirley Road, Manchester, England, M8 0ND. By asking us to attend, you accept them. Nothing here removes or limits your statutory rights as a consumer.
Quotes and prices
We give you a fixed, all-in price before we dispatch a vehicle, based on the information you provide. There is no separate call-out fee, no out-of-hours rate and no bank holiday surcharge.
A quote can only change if the facts change — for example, if the vehicle turns out not to roll when you told us it did, if it is in a location that needs winching or specialist access, or if you ask us to take it somewhere different once we have arrived. In that situation we will stop, explain, and agree a revised price with you before continuing. We will never simply invoice you more than we quoted.
Heavy, plant and off-road recovery is quoted individually after we understand the vehicle, the weight and the access.
Payment
Unless you hold a credit account with us, payment is due on completion, before the vehicle is released at its destination. We accept card, bank transfer and cash. Account holders are invoiced monthly on the terms set out in their account agreement.
Where a vehicle is stored with us, storage is charged at the daily rate agreed in writing before the vehicle enters our yard, and the vehicle is released once recovery and storage charges are settled.
Cancellation
You can cancel free of charge at any time before a vehicle has been dispatched to you. If we have already set off, we may charge a reasonable contribution towards the journey made, which we will tell you at the time.
If we cannot complete the job for a reason that is our fault, you pay nothing.
Your responsibilities
To let us do the job safely and lawfully, you confirm that:
- You own the vehicle or are authorised by the owner to have it recovered
- The information you give us about the vehicle, its condition and its location is accurate
- The vehicle contains no hazardous, illegal or undeclared dangerous goods
- You have removed valuables and personal documents, or accept that they travel at your risk
- You will tell us about any pre-existing damage, modification or non-standard feature that affects loading
Our liability
We carry goods-in-transit and public liability insurance, and we photograph every vehicle before loading and after unloading so its condition is documented both ways.
We are liable for loss or damage caused by our negligence while the vehicle is in our care, up to the limits of our insurance. We are not liable for pre-existing faults or damage, for damage that could not be avoided given the vehicle’s condition where you did not disclose it, for loss of items left inside the vehicle, or for indirect losses such as lost earnings or missed appointments.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Timings
Arrival times we give you are honest estimates based on distance, traffic and current workload — not guarantees. Traffic, weather, road closures and genuine emergencies can delay us. If we are going to be significantly later than estimated, we will tell you, and you are free to cancel at that point without charge.
Abandoned vehicles
Where a vehicle is left with us and charges remain unpaid, we will contact you in writing at the details you gave us. If charges remain unpaid and the vehicle uncollected after a reasonable period, we may exercise our legal right to dispose of it to recover what is owed, accounting to you for any surplus.
Complaints
If something has gone wrong, tell us first and give us the chance to fix it — email support@soopperfastrecovery.co.uk or ring 0333 335 6327. We will acknowledge within two working days and aim to resolve matters within fourteen. Being straightforward when we get something wrong is part of how we operate.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute.
