Why we started
Every recovery firm has the same website promising a fast, professional, reliable service. Almost none of them tell you what it costs, and plenty of them will happily leave you sitting on a hard shoulder for three hours while a subcontractor is found who will do the job for less than they quoted you.
We built this business around the two things that actually matter when your car has stopped: somebody answering the phone, and knowing the price before you commit. That is why our number goes to a controller rather than a queue, and why we quote a single fixed figure before a truck sets off.
We are based in Cheetham Hill, north Manchester, and we own our trucks. When you ring, you are speaking to the people who will be recovering your vehicle — not a broker who will sell the job on. That is also why we will tell you honestly when somebody closer would reach you faster. We would rather lose one job than earn a reputation for leaving people waiting.
The name is a bit daft, we know. It stuck because it is exactly what people ask for at two in the morning.

do not break
A human answers, always
No hold music, no automated triage, no callback promise. Our controller picks up and starts dispatching while you are still talking. If we ever fail to answer, we have failed at the one thing that matters.
The price is the price
You get one fixed, all-in figure before a truck moves. No call-out fee, no night rate, no bank holiday premium, and no revised invoice afterwards because the job took longer than we guessed.
Treated like our own
Wheel-strapped rather than chassis-strapped, photographed before and after, and fully insured in transit. If we damage something, we say so and we put it right.
Honest about timing
If we cannot reach you quickly, we tell you and suggest you call someone closer. We would rather lose the job than leave you waiting on a promise we cannot keep.

Most failed recoveries are not a skill problem, they are a kit problem — the wrong truck arrives and cannot do the job. We ask the right questions on the phone so that does not happen.
Tilt-and-slide flatbeds
Low-approach beds for lowered and damaged cars, with soft straps and wheel nets rather than chains over suspension components.
Spec-lift units
For tight city-centre streets and multi-storey car parks where a full-length flatbed physically cannot turn.
Winch and skate kit
Wheel skates, winches and matting so vehicles that will not roll, steer or sit level can still be loaded without dragging.
Bike transport gear
Front wheel chock, soft loop straps and a proper cradle, so motorcycles travel upright and located.
Roadside toolkit
Professional booster packs, replacement batteries, trolley jacks, impact tools and locking nut extraction kits.
Heavy recovery
Underlift and suspended-tow equipment for vehicles over 3.5 tonnes, plant and machinery moves on low-loaders.
